I had the pleasure of staying at Forte De Sao Joao Da Barra and was truly impressed by the unique historical setting within a 17th-century Portuguese fort. The breakfast offered was not only delicious but also generous, providing a perfect start to each day of exploration. The attentive service from the staff, especially the welcoming Luisa, made us feel truly valued and cared for throughout our stay. The proximity to one of the best beaches on the Algarve coast was an added bonus, easily accessible by a short boat trip from the fort. In the evening, the opportunity to relax by the pool in the ramparts with a cannon, while enjoying the breathtaking views, was simply unparalleled. The attention to detail in every corner of the fort, from the sitting areas to the patio, made it a pleasure to explore and unwind.
